In March 2016, the band engaged in an official collaboration with director and anime creator, Mr. James Ishizaki from Hawaii, providing an extract of their song “City Of Sin” to feature in the soundtrack of his latest short cartoon movie entitled “The Rockin’ Dead – Enter Popacalypse”.
The movie received:
- The 2016 Winner – Gold Kahuna award in the Honolulu Film Awards
- The 2016 Best Sound Award in the ACM Awards
- The 2016 Best Animation Award in the ACM awards
About the plot:
“In a post pop-acalyptic wasteland, radios worldwide have turned humanity into mainstream, pop music listening zombies, led by the evil Manager. The only heroes left are punk and rock warriors Killjoy and Badwolf. Together they ride through the barren mainstream desert, killing pop zombies, and keeping rock and roll alive!”
